Charles "Chico" Holm Coleman died Saturday, July 28, 2007.
Memorial service: A remembrance celebration will be 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, at 2400 School Lane, Bedford.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Livestrong, The Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Chico was born April 2, 1953, in Dallas and was raised in El Paso. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1978 with a degree in journalism. He met his beloved wife, Karen, while working at Calloway's Nursery. Together they shared a life filled with love, laughter and flowers. For 12 years, Chico worked for the U.S. Postal Service with many loved friends and colleagues. Karen and Chico lived in Bedford for seven years surrounded by wonderful friends and neighbors. Thank you to everyone who has given their love and support.
Chico's father, N.G. "Ace" Coleman, predeceased him.
Survivors: Wife, Karen and family, Jenny and Taylor Capps, Missy and Chaney Caldwell, Lance and Melva Harris, Holly, Kaitlyn and Eric, Johnnie and Doris Davis and Howard Pierce; sister, Anne Coleman Rowe and her husband, Chris, and their children, Jessie and Travis of Dallas; and mother, Barbara Jessie Holm Coleman of El Paso.
