Earl E. Kingsley, 96, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020 at The Shepherd Center in Cimarron, KS. He was born Sept. 15,1924 at Bloomington, Ks. the son of Lewis and Estella (Eastman) Kingsley. He served his country with the United States Navy. He was a lifetime Ford resident and was a farmer, he worked for ADM Milling and also delivered propane for the Jetmore Co-op.
Earl enjoyed farming, working with cattle and tinkering with farm equipment. He was also trying to invent the next great machine. He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren along with his two chilhuahua's Tippy and Tiny.
On Feb. 22, 1948 he married Velma C. Stout at Ford, Ks. She survives along with his daughter, Belinda (Greg) Plowman of Wright, KS.; 2 grandchildren, Gregory (Julietta) Plowman of Ford, KS. and Casey (Shane) Ames of Jeanerette, Louisiana; 2 great grandchildren, Caden and Breanna Ames.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons, David and Don Kingsley, brother Mitchel Kingsley, granddaughter, Mandy Freeman; 4 sisters, Minnie Jackson, Blance Mattlock, Mary Tharp and Ester Wiens, daughter-in-law, Linda Kingsley, brother-in-law, Chuck Jackson and sister-in-law, Hattie Kingsley.
Funeral will be on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021 at Minnis Mortuary, Bucklin, KS with military honors by the Bucklin American Legion Post 269 and the United States Navy.
