A daughter of Chas. Harrington, of Benton township, died the fore part of this week. She was hit on the shoulder by a ball bat several days before, and though she complained some, nothing was thought of it, until after she had done a hard day's work at house cleaning, when she was taken down. A physician was sent for, but it was too late. After lingering a few days in great pain, gangrene set in, and she died. She was a bright girl, and it is a heavy blow to the family.

[is this the correct cemetery? If you have any information about this girl, please let me know. Could she be Adalla b. 1872 in Iowa to Charles & Elisabeth Herrington 1880 Benton, Iowa and 'Harrington' 1900 Aurora, Kansas]
