Lillian Goldberg, age 93, born in Bronx, N.Y. passed away on December 14,2020. She married the love of her life, Irving, in 1946 with whom she shared 53 wonderful years!

Lillian subsequently spent her retirement years in Monticello, N.Y. with her husband, Irving, until his death in 1999. She continued to live in Monticello until 2017 when she moved to an assisted living facility closer to her children in Rockland County, N.Y.

Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Irving, brother Jack Tabach and sister, Bernice Kogler. She is survived by her two children Alan Goldberg and his partner Diane Kiken Ravner, and daughter, Cheryl Bierenbaum and husband, Joel. She is also survived by her grandchildren Lisa Weiss and husband, Andrew and Adam Bierenbaum and wife,Marianne and great-grandchildren Marshall and Ramona Weiss. And she was lookingforward to meeting her new great-grandchild from grandson Adam Bierenbaum and his wife Marianne in March.

Lillian's zest for life was enormous and she made the most out of every day. She and Irving had become active officers of the Monticello Senior Center where they both organized numerous events for the seniors. And where they started the "Senior Olympics" in the town of Monticello and also raised money for the Senior Games, as well as, numerous other charities.

After relocating to Rockland County, Lillian continued to be the "Social Butterfly" talking with everyone and encouraging the facility management to create new activities as she saw the need. Meanwhile always keeping in touch with her dear friends from Monticello, as this was where she and Irving prospered for so many years from all the love and generosity from the community.

She will be missed dearly by all who knew her, but mostly by her family and friends who had the benefit of her kindness, generosity, creative ideas and love every day!
