ALBERT MERTON RINEY, 75, 3202 Mid Dale Lane, died at 11:45 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Infirmary. He had been ill for several years. He retired seven years ago after 45 years with the Logan Company, 200 Cable. He started there in 1912 as a timekeeper and retired from the cost department with a perfect on-time record. He was a native of Rineyville, a city named after his great-grandfather, an early settler. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Barnabas Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Leona Smith and one daughter, Patricia Ann Riney; two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Barnabas Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The body will be at Ratterman's, 3800 Bardstown Rd., after 1 p.m. Sunday.
