Joseph James Hirsch moved to Billings in 1955 from Dickinson, ND, and worked as a shipping clerk at the Sweetheart Bakery, until retiring in 1974. He enjoyed gardening and yard work. Mr. Hirsh, 75, died Tuesday evening in the Western Manor Nursing Home. He was born in Lemmon, SD, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hirsch. In Nov. 1934, he married Margaret Krank in Dickinson, ND; she died June 7, 1962. Survivors include a son, a daughter, four brothers, and a granddaughter. ... Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery.
