Margaret T. was born in ABOUT 1745 and died on 16 Jan 1815 at her Jackson River Home, now in Bath Co. I have not positively identified her surname (original records) to be Thornton, other than to find it listed as such in secondary records, which have been often repeated. Early family records believed her middle name was Temperance but I've never seen it verified either.
She married John Bollar before 1768. For the most part he used the double L spelling of Bollar and his son John, Jr. used only one.
They had 11 known Bollar (Bolar....) children at the Jackson River home, now in Bath County, Virginia :

Her stone was broken in half near the bottom third but has been cemented back together. Her stone was also moved from it's original location at her home on Jackson River to this location due to the Gathright Dam in the 1970's. My photo was taken in August 1999 when we had a Bol(l)ar Family Reunion in Warm Springs.
Wm H. ("Hubbard") Revercomb, married Susan Pollinia. daughter of Major John and Esther (Wilson) Boller, born in Bath county, VA, in 1822, died in Oct 1901, her father a major in VA militia. Her grandfather was CAPTAIN JOHN BOLLER, who was sworn into the Continental service on April 8, 1779, in command of Botetourt county troops, and there is also a record, dated 1792, of the commission of John Boller as colonel of militia in Bath county."
