Callie Florence Bryan Roughton was the daughter of Dr. George Washington & Mary Louisa Stone Bryan, born in the Drane Community, Navarro Co. TX. She married McAllister "Mack" Mervin Roughton on December 9, 1894. They were the parents of four children: Georgia Adelia (Mrs. Shelby Hicks), Gussie Louise, Curtis Coleman, Nelson Simpson Roughton.
Surviving are two sons, Curtis C. Roughton, Houston' Nelson Roughton, Corsicana; two daughters, Mrs. Shelby Hicks of Corsicana, and Miss Gussie Roughton, Marshall, TX, 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs. A.J. Horton and Mrs. T. P. Jordan, both of Rt. 1 Corsicana and many other relatives.
