CLARKSDALE -- Mrs. Dean Peacock Durrett, 73, died Thursday at the Medical Center. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at McInniss-Porter Funeral Home. Burial in Oddfellows Cemetery at Greenwood.
She attended the Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, Ky., and was head of the Primary Department of the Clarksdale Baptist Church for many years. She was a past president of the Clarksdale Woman's Club and also of the Kings Daughters.
Survivors: a son, Lt. Col. Charles M. Bolen Jr. of Clarksdale; three brothers, Baynon Peacock of Delhi, La., T. H. Peacock of Baton Rouge and Harold Peacock of Forest, La.; three sisters, Mrs. Ulala Crowe of Forest, La., Mrs. Era Crow of Oak Grove, La., and Mrs. Fairest Parker of Forest, La.
