Christine Gedaminski, 74, a lifelong resident of Springfield, died at 8:11 a.m., Monday, April 11, 2005 at her residence. Christine was born September 25, 1930 in Springfield the daughter of William and Mildred Kiefer Maisenbacher. She married Raymond J. Gedaminski, June 2, 1951 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church; he preceded her in death November 9, 1998.

Mrs. Gedaminski was a 1948 graduate of Lanphier High School. She worked at New Hampshire Insurance Company and Sears for several years prior to being Treasurer of the Village of Jerome. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church where she was very active in the Church Choir. She was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Fighting Illini. She loved to play golf and volleyball and enjoyed watching her children play sports.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Donald Maisenbacher. She is survived by daughter: Diane (husband, James) Wanless Schleyhahn of Pleasant Plains; two sons: Raymond "Boo" Jr. Gedaminski of Gorham and Todd W. Gedaminski of Springfield; three grandchildren; brother: Gene (wife, Lucy) Maisenbacher of Springfield; sister-in-law: Florence (husband, Don) Bryant of Springfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. David S. Lantz celebrant. Burial at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
