Mildred L. Maisenbacher, 87, of Springfield died Monday at Regency Nursing Care Residence. She was born Oct. 17, 1909, the daughter of Tony and Florence Dickinson Kieffer. She married William R. Maisenbacher in 1929; he died in 1987.

A graduate of New Berlin High School, Mrs. Maisenbacher worked as a bridal consultant at Myers Brothers and as a personnel manager at Illinois National, New Hampshire Group. She was a member of Elliott Avenue Baptist Church where she was treasurer and a member of the Keystone Sunday School Class and the Fidelis Mission Circle. She was a Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader and chairman of the Enos School Cub Scout Circus.

A member of the Springfield Chamber of Commerce, she was past president of the Enos School PTA, Business and Professional Women's Club and Administrative Management Society of Springfield.

Survivors: a son, Gene Maisenbacher of Springfield; a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Christine) Maisenbacher of Springfield; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Justin (Mardell) Taft of Rochester and Mrs. Thomas (Mary) Joyce of Springfield.

Services: Elliott Avenue Baptist Church, Dr. Gary Rhodes officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
