Deloris Adams was born August 11, 1951 in Bishopville, South Carolina. She received her education at Bishopville public schools. After high school, she met her husband, Powell Adams, and they got married and began their lives for a couple of years in South Carolina before moving up to Newark, New Jersey.
Deloris Adams accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was an evangelist and she preached at many churches in Newark, NJ. One of her church she like going to in the 80s was Saint Paul Baptist Church. Deloris Adams loved Jesus Christ and would not have it any other way. Deloris Adams loved traveling down to Bishopville, South Carolina every year where she was born to see her parents and family. She also loved her husband and would do anything for all 7 of her kids. One of her favorite sons she always talked about was Victor Lamont Adams (Nickname Joe-Joe).
Deloris Adams worked from 1985-1989 for Butler Aviation at Newark Airport. From 2017-2020 she worked at Goodwill on Route 46 in New Jersey.
Deloris Adams is preceded in death by: her parents, Tom McDuffie mother Louise McDuffie; and three brothers, Thomas McDuffie, Bobby McDuffie and Henry McDuffie.
