Debbie J. Hicks Adams, 33 of the Tins Mill section of Bell Township, died yesterday (Feb. 7, 1988) in Magee Womens Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a lingering illness. She was born May 16, 1954 in Latrobe Hospital.

Mrs. Adams was a 1972 graduate of Kiski Area High School. She was a cashier at Shop & Save, Saltsburg, the past six years.

Survivors include her parents, Nellis and Patty Clawson Hicks of Salina; her husband, Gary R. Adams; a son, Stephen, at home; a daughter, Lori, at home and a brother, Terry Hicks of Severna Park, MD.

Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Curran Funeral Home Inc., 322 N. Second Street, Apollo, where services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Richard Baker. Burial will be in West View Cemetery, Avonmore. In lieu of flowers, the deceased requested donation be made to the Debbie Adams Trust Fund, established for her children at First National Bank, Avonmore.
