Mrs. Mary E. Tompkins Dies at Her Home Here
Mrs. Mary E. Tompkins, widow of John Tompkins, died at her home, 177 Main Street, on Sunday evening. She had been ill only a short time. Mrs. Tompkins was born in England and had resided in Poughkeepsie for fifteen years. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Raymond Osterhoudt, and one son, John Tompkins, both of this city. Funeral services will be held at her late home on Wednesday morning at nine o'clock and at St. Peter's church at 9:30 o'clock where a mass of requiem will be said. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery under the direction of John V. Mellady, undertaker.
