Agnes Cavenaugh Ashworth, age 88 of Castle Hayne passed peacefully Sunday. June 29, 2008 at her home while under the constant loving care of her husband Willie. She was born in Duplin County, NC on December 7, 1919. She is survived by her husband, Willie Ashworth, children, Sherwood Shannon Abbott and wife, Patricia Beasley Abbott, Danny Lee Henderson and wife Sara Wagner Henderson, and Murray Michael Henderson. Step daughter, Carolyn Ashworth Anderson and husband Tim. Grandchildren, Kelli Beck and husband Chris, Jennifer Abbott, Justin Daniel Henderson, Jocelyn Quinn ""Angel"" Henderson and four great grandchildren. Brother, Orion Cavenaugh and wife Pearl, and a special niece Pam Hamlett and her family. The family would like to acknowledge and extend a special thanks to all of our blessed friends at Hospice and those close to her; Grady, Frances, Bobby, and Clara. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 7 to 8 pm Monday at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. Graveside services will be held 10 am Tuesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
