Memorial service for Ebba C. Johnson, 92, a lifetime Spokane resident, will be at noon today at First Covenant Church, S212 Division, where she was a life member.

Private burial service preceded at Riverside Memorial Park with Ball & Dodd Funeral Home-South in charge.

Mrs. Johnson died Friday at Riverview Terrace.

Born in Spokane, she graduated from Lewis and Clark High School and attended Eastern Washington University.

Mrs. Johnson was employed by Burgan’s Furniture 20 years, retiring in 1965.

At the time of her death, she was the oldest member and held the longest membership in First Covenant Church.

Her husband of 24 years, Emil C. Johnson, died in 1945.

Survivors include one son, Robert Johnson of Spokane; one daughter, Jeanette Hollingbery of Yakima; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to First Memorial Church.
