Mr. Alfred (Lump) Boykin - A native of Mobile County and a lifelong resident of Mobile died at a local hospital Monday, June 6, 1978. He leaves to survive a loving wife, Mrs. Mary M. Boykin of Mobile; one daughter, Mrs. Annie Richardson of Mobile; one grandson, Larry C. Pugh of Mobile; one granddaughter, Mrs. Gloria Richardson of Mobile; one granddaughter-in-law, Mrs. Pamela C. Pugh; one son-in-law, Danny Richardson; five great-grandchildren all of Mobile; three brothers, a very devoted brother, Andrew Boykin of Mobile, A.C. Boykin of Birmingham, and Collins Boykin of New Orleans, Louisiana; an aunt and uncle, Mr. & Mrs. Charlie Jackson of Jackson, Alabama; three brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, and a loving friend of the family, Joanne Chaney Pugh and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Christian Benevolent Funeral Home, Saturday, June 10, 1978, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Augustine (St. Austin) Cemetery. Visitation for friends at the funeral home Friday, June 9, 1978 after 5 p.m. Funeral arrangements by Christian Benevolent Funeral Home, Mobile.
