Galena, Kan., April 21., — Mrs. Daisy Belle Everett, 76 years old, Galena resident 66 years, died at 10:30 o'clock this morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. L. G. Day, 2115 Odessa street, in Joplin, as the result of a cerebral hemorrhage, which she suffered at 2 o'clock this morning.

Mrs. Everett, who resided on Galena route 2, was spending several days with her daughter in Joplin, when she suffered the attack. She seemed in her usual health upon retiring last night, relatives said.

She was born March 20, 1872 in Oswego, Kan., and came to Galena when she was 10 years old.

Surviving are two daughters ,L. G. Day and Mrs. Ruby Gandy, both of Joplin; three sons, Roy Everett, Milford Everett and Bert Everett, all of Galena; two sisters, Mrs. Howard Allowny of Oswego and Mrs. Cora Harrison of Pawnee, Okla.; one brother, Bert Lake of Joplin, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday at the Poteet funeral home here, with burial in the Galena cemetery.

The body was received by the Poteet funeral home.

Galena. Kan., April 22. — Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Belle Everett, 76 years old, of Galena route 2, who died yesterday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. L. G. Day, in Joplin, will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Poteet funeral chapel, with the Rev. Sol Gibson, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in the Galena cemetery. Pallbearers will be Claude Parker, Paul Hardwick, Pete Allford, Almon Willis, Jack Holden and Murrel Gandy.
