Eva is survived by husband of 64 years, David Ash; children, Pam (Kevin) Corney, Jeff Ash, and Tim (Linn) Ash; grandchildren, Ashley (Kyle) Spence, Kristie (Jacob) Alexander, Britney (Landyn) Hill, Kelsey (Kyle) Fluharty; David Ash, and Rachael Ash; great-grandchildren, Kameron, Leah, Reid, Charlotte, and J.T.; brothers-in-law; Dick (Shirley) Ash and Steve (Wendy) Ash; sisters-in-law, Wilma Hallmark, Faye (Art) Stafford, Hester Dyer, Linda Zornes, Sue (Art) Schiefer, and JoAnn (Tim) Ridge.
Eva was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union. She worked for 35 years at Maplecrest and assisted as a caregiver, housekeeper, and cook. She enjoyed traveling and camping and visited 45 states. Eva loved her cats and spending time with her family. Grandkids were a big part of her life, for whom she loved to make her famous chocolate chip cookies. Eva also used to cook meals and take them to families that were in need. She could often be found going to garage sales in the summer, and loved getting a good deal. Eva had a golden heart and will truly be missed.
Visiting hours are at Munz-Pirnstill Monday February 15, from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. Services will follow visitation at 2 p.m. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society.
