When Augustus died the family was a member of St Joseph's parish.
Sadly, Augustus and seven of his siblings also died young.
Five of these siblings died in Prussia before the family came to Detroit in 1869. The remaining two siblings (Martha & Clara) were born and died in Detroit between 1871 and 1879.
Augustus, Martha and Clara are buried in this Cemetery.
Augustus's parents and four other siblings that became adults, Gustav, Helena, Theresa & John, are all buried in Mt Olivet Cemetery. Mt Olivet is just a couple of miles NW of Mt Elliot.
