The body was taken to the Ritger funeral home and services will be held today (Thursday) 10 A.M. at Our Lady of Sorrows Chruch. Father Griffin will officiate and burial will be made in Riverside cemetery.
Lottie Kolk was born in Leipzig, Germany , Sept. 8, 1884 and was of Polish-German descent. Her marriage to Walter Novak took place in Germany in 1898 and they came to the US in 1899. They resided until 1910 in Chicago, then moving to a farm near Conrath. Mr. Novak died in 1924, and Mrs. Novak continued to reside on the farm until 1941, when she came to Ladysmith to live with her son, Edmund.
She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows church and the Christian Mothers society.
Surviving are seven children Joseph and Alexander Novak Chicago; Frank, Casimer and Edmund Novak Ladysmith; Francis Dettloff, Lincolnwood, ILL. and Cecelia Wiedder, and adopted daughter, of Chicago. A daughter Stella, preceded her mother in death.
