Born May 8, 1923, in Lyndora, she was the daughter of Joseph and Fannie Maletz Kosar.
She was a member of St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church in Lyndora.
Mrs. Franchuk was a former member of the Jolly Girls Bowling League.
She is survived by two sons, Milton M. (Mickey) and Gary L. Franchuk, both of Butler, a daughter, Kathy R. Franchuk of Butler; five brothers, John, Joseph, Steve, and Paul, all of Butler, and Nick of Lyndora; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Turk, and Mrs. Nellie Pollifrone of Butler, and Mrs. Annie Smuch of Lyndora; two grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was the wife of the late Milton "Milo" Franchuk, who died Jan 20, 1986. She is also preceded in death by four
brothers.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetary, Butler.
