Born March 17, 1917, in Italy, he was the son of Patsy and Victoria Scarda Pollifrone.
Mr. Pollifrone worked as a press operator at the former Pullman Standard for 37 years before retiring in 1979.
He was a member of St Michael Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
He is survived by his wife, Nelle Kosar Pollifrone, to whom he was married for 52 years; a son, Robert Pollifrone
of Erie, a daughter, Mrs. Patricia DiBiccaro of Butler; three brothers, Louis of Butler, and James and Frank, both in Italy; four sisters, Mrs. Frances Ponzo, Mrs. Rose Staryat, and Mrs. Josephine Podobensky, all of Butler, and Mrs. Claire Klein of California; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park, Butler.
