Tulare - Patricia Mathias Barker Guerrero, of Tulare, California, born on December 31, 1936 in Tulare, California, to the late Lillian Mathias and the late Dr. Charles Mathias, passed away at age 81 on June 21, 2018 in Visalia, California. She graduated from Tulare "union" High School in 1954 and attended the University of New Mexico. She was a Budget Coordinator at Kaweah Delta District Hospital. She married Leo Barker on April 17, 1963. She become a widow in 1978. For the second time in her life she found love and married Charlie Guerrero in 1993. They were married 19 years until his passing in 2012. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Dr. Eugene Mathias, Robert "Bob" Mathias, and Jim Mathias. Patricia is survived by her sons, Louis Prager and Preston Barker; daughter, Rose Ann Souza along with numerous step-children; grandchildren, Rose Maree Souza, Jennifer Souza, and Alexandra Barker; and great-grandchildren, Kolton Guerber and Hunter Barker. She was a member of Tulare First Baptist Church. She was a member of Class of 1954 Monthly Luncheon, and a past president of Tulare Emblem Club. In lieu of flowers please donate to Tulare Historical Society or Tulare First Baptist Church. Friends and family are welcome to attend the visitation on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Peers Lorentzen Funeral Home, 132 W. Kern Ave., Tulare, CA.
