Mrs. Henry Ashby Dies in Jersey
Mrs. Alice Kimlin Ashby, daughter of the late Hamilton and Eliza Kimlin, formerly of this city, died at her home at Branchville, N.J., yesterday morning at 7 o'clock. A native of this city, Mrs. Ashby had been a resident of Branchville for many years. She was the wife of Henry Ashby who was a major in the Boar war, and the mother of Irwin Kimlin Lowery, of New York city. Her father as a widely known building contractor here for many years. Mrs. Ashby is survived by several cousins, including Ralph Kimlin, of Cider Mill road; Alderman Stewart D. Kimlin, William P. Kimlin, retired city police lieutenant, Mrs. H. F. Baker and Robert Kimlin Ross, city, and several nephews and nieces. Burial will take place in Poughkeepsie Rural cemetery on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

Burial services for Mrs. Alice Kimlin Ashby, native of this city, who died in Branchville, N.J., were conducted in the Poughkeepsie Rural cemetery at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Mrs. Ashby's survivors include, in addition to several cousins, a nephew, Cornelius Kimlin, here; and two nieces, Mrs. Mabel Weaver and Mrs. Fred Merkel, here.
