Barry Allen Kline, owner and operator of N.Y.C. Bagel Co. of Schenectady, NY for close to 30 years, died in the presence of his immediate family early Sunday morning in Delray Beach, FL.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol, his 3 loving children, Linda (Damien), Brian (Melissa) & Roger (Karen), and his sister, Marcia Lebold.
Barry was born in NYC in 1944 to Florence & Sol Kline.
He graduated Michigan State University with a degree in packaging engineering and went to work at General Electric.
Barry quickly realized he was not a "suit and tie guy" and bought N.Y.C. Bagel Company.
Barry was a lifelong Giants fan, lover of all things BBQ, and proud grandfather (known as Z to his 5 grandchildren). Elena, Brice, Justin, Logan & Hanna were the light of his life, and it was with great pride he told new friends he had a whole handful of grandchildren.
