Circus Entertainer. Aurelio Atayde García, better known as Bellini, was a Venezuelan-born Mexican clown, member of the most famous circus in Mexico, Atayde Circus, founded in 1888. Bellini was born in Venezuela, but his parents registered him with the Mexican consulate, so his nationality was Mexican. He became an acrobat and comedian from a very young age, standing out on the bars and trapezes. His comedy became famous, during a time when the command of the group of clowns of the Atayde Circus was occupied by another Mexican clown Leandro del Castillo "Pirrin." Bellini became the image of the Atayde Circus and was a fundamental part of the show. In the 1970s he became part of a new project of the Atayde family: the Frank Brown International Circus, where he became a fundamental figure, alternating functions and seasons with the Atayde Hermanos Circus. He was named by the foreign press as the best clown in Mexico.
