Daughter of Carl Giles and Emma Aretta Knight Spafford.

Married Junius H. Christiansen in the Manti LDS Temple September 14, 1927. She is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Carolene February 18, 1938, and her son, Kent on July 27, 1961. She lived in Monroe, Utah all of her life working various jobs through the years, which include, Monroe Librarian, office worker at the Monroe Creamery, and grocery clerk at Monroe Market. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many positions, teaching the youth, and was Junior Sunday School president for many years. She was treasurer of the Monroe Senior Citizens, and has been a member of the Monroe Literose Club.

Sisters: Merle Poulson, Mada Hansen, Donna Hansen, and Edna Larsen.
