Funeral services for Mrs. Louisa Milam Buchanan, 87, of Glen Fork will be held at 1:p.m. Wednesday in the Sweet Divine Church near Pineville with Rev. Jim Bower and Rev. John Bower in charge. Burial will be in Jackson Cemetery at New Richmond.
She died at 9:p.m. Sunday in a Welch hospital after a long illness.
Born 18 Feb 1887, at hotchkiss, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Milam.
Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Buchanan, in 1962, she is survived by two sons, Emmett of Maben; and Howell of Guernsey, Ohio; nine daughters, Mrs. Billy Mathena of Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Sadie Olsen of Indianapolis, Minn,.; Mrs. Pearl Halsey; and Mrs Ada Carroll, both of Princeton; Mrs. Cora Ashley; Mrs, Eva Halsey; and Mrs. Lucy Cook, all of Pineville; Sylvia Hurt of Richlands, Va.; and Mrs. Maris Styles of Glen Fork; and a brother, Henry Milam of Matheny; 44 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren, and 31 great-great-grandchlidren.
