A Celebration of Sharon L. Mallett’s Life, age 71, of Jasper, Texas, will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper, Texas with burial at Little Hope Cemetery in Jasper, Texas. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until start of service, Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home.

Sharon died Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Harbor Hospice in Jasper, Texas.

Sharon was a native of DeQuincy, Louisiana and a lifelong resident of Jasper, Texas. She was an active member of Gateway Tabernacle in Call, Texas. She loved her family and enjoyed watching the soaps on television.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 32 years, O.W. Mallett of Jasper, Texas; her son, Mike Barrow and wife Jennifer of Decatur, Texas; brothers, Vernon Barrow and wife Bobbie of Brookeland, Texas, Jerry Barrow and wife Francis of Jasper, Texas, Johnny Barrow of Call, Texas, Daniel Barrow of Beaumont, Texas and J.R. Barrow of Brookeland, Texas; sisters, Judy Davis of Brookeland, Texas, Mary Rogers and husband Andy of Jasper, Texas and Mollie Carroll of Jasper, Texas; a grandson, Jake Barrow of Decatur, Texas; and numerous nieces, great- nieces, nephews and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, Melton Amos Barrow, Sr. and Mayola Elizabeth Barrow and her brother A.C. “Speedy” Barrow.
