A celebration of John E. Barrow, Sr.'s life, age 74, of Call, Texas will be 10am, Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Gateway Tabernacle Church in Kirbyville, Texas.

Burial to follow at Kirbyville City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9am until time of service at the church.

John E. Barrow, Sr. died Saturday, July 3, 2021 at his home in Call, Texas.

John was a native of Brookeland,Texas and a longtime resident of Call. He enjoyed hunting and going fishing with his wife and family and spending time on the Neches River at the camp.

John is survived by his son, John "Bo" Barrow, Jr. of Call, grandchildren, Joseph Barrow, Jaelyn Sioux Barrow and Tyler Burnett, brothers, Jerry Barrow and his wife Francis of Jasper, Daniel Barrow of Beaumont, Texas and Junior Barrow of Brookeland, Texas, his sisters, Judy Davis of Brookeland, Mary Elizabeth Rogers and her husband Andy of Jasper and Mollie Carroll of Jasper.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Melton Amos and Mayola Elizabeth Barrow, his wife, Linda Shaw Barrow, daughters, Regina Lynn Barrow and Kimberly Ann Burnett, son James Douglas Barrow, brothers, A.C. "Speedy" Barrow and Vernon Barrow and sister, Sharon Mallett.

Memorials may be made to Gateway Tabernacle ~ Youth Scholarship, Linda Barrow Fund, 22960 US Highway 96 S, Kirbyville, Texas 75956.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Jasper.
