Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hodgman-Splain's Chapel, 4040 A, for the Rev. Ferdinand Sattler, 93, formerly of 2035 So. 18th, who died Monday.
A Lincoln resident 42 years, the Rev. Mr. Sattler was a former pastor of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, 8th and B, where he served 24 years before retiring in 1949.
Mrs. Sattler was the daughter of the Rev. J. F. Grove, founder of the Ebenezer Church.
Ordained into the ministry in June, 1900, the Rev. Mr. Sattler served churches in Avoca, Ia., Parkston, S.D., Greeley, Colo., McCook and Lincoln, building churches in four of these towns.
Survivors include a son, W. P. of Long Branch, N.J.; daughters, Mrs. Norman (Esther) Wilson, Mrs. Robert (Hulda) Gartner, both Lincoln; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
