She attended the Blue Rapids schools and the University of Kansas at Lawrence.
She was married to Ardath Hunt on 19 March 1928, in the Burr home in Blue Rapids with Rev Panel of the Episcopal Church performing the ceremony. To this union was born one daughter Jessie Ann.
Surviving are her husband, Ardath of the home, her daughter Mrs. Jessie Ann Lopez of New York City, a granddaughter Andrea Cherie Lopez and her sister Miss Willma Burr.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, 13 April 1973 at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Mark's Episcopal church in Blue Rapids with the Rev E F Mendenhall officiating and mars. Robert Schwartz furnished organ music for the services.
Casket bears were Artie Persell, Ben Mall, Albert Boyakin, Earle Lamb, Otto Kotapish, all of Blue Rapids and Fred Layton of Clifton. Interment was in the Fairmont Cemetery with Perry Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
