He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Hester of the home; his step-daughter, Gwen Thomas of Hope Mills; one grandson, Robert Hester and wife Lisa of Elizabethtown; one great-grandson, Cole Hester of Elizabethtown; two nieces; and one nephew.
