Dr. Cummings was interred with his son, Bob Cummings, and wife Ruth K. Cummings at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California. He and his wife, Ruth, founded the Jasper County (Missouri) Tuberculosis Hospital and helped establish the Health and Welfare Association of Jasper, Missouri.
