Anne was born about 1586 in Marefield, Leicestershire, England. She was baptized at Birstall, Leicestershire 17 November 1594. ("England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:J3C4-D89 : 21 September 2020), Anne Hooker, 1594.)

Anne was married to George Alcock 1 May 1626 in Marefield, Leicestershire England. ("England, Leicestershire Parish Registers, 1533-1991," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QP4W-YRXG : 6 June 2018.)

She and George were the parents of only one child, a son named John.

Anne died 1631 in Roxbury.

The Rev. John Eliot then minister of the Roxbury Church says this about George, Anne, George's second wife, and George's two children:

"He came in the first company in 1630 and left an only son in England. His wife died soon after his arrival. He was chosen Deacon of the combined Roxbury and Dorchester churches and after the Roxbury church was established he was Deacon of that church. He made two voyages to England and bought over his son, John, and a second wife by whom he had a son Samuel. He lived in a good Godly sort and died at the end of the 10 month 1640 and left a good Savour behind him, the poor of the church much bewailing his loss." Vol 97 P 11. (Moriarty, G. Andrews. The Alcocks of Roxbury, Mass., The New England Historical & Genealogical Register (NEHGS, Boston, Mass., 1943) Vol. 97, Page 10-11)

In addition, the will of George Alcock clearly states that he had two sons, John (b. 1626/7) by his first wife Anne, and Samuel, (b. 16 Apr 1637, Roxbury) by his second wife Elizabeth.
