She was born in Plymouth, MA, the daughter of James and Norma Harrington.
Cate graduated from Laboure' College, where she earned her Associate Degree in Nursing and served as a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Brighton for 20+ years.
Cate was motivated by helping others whenever she could, and to that end, she proudly provided Emergency Medical Disaster Relief in Lousiana during Hurricane Katrina.
Cate will be missed and never forgotten by her husband of 5 years Sigfredo "Sigi" Guzman, her parents James J. Harrington III and Norma J. (Keefe) Harrington, son Kevin Harrington and his fianceé Katerina Michelakis, stepdaughters Alicia Guzman and Ella Guzman (Cate's sidekick), and brothers James J. Harrington IV and his wife Brenda and their son Brenden, and Matthew Harrington and his wife Katelyn and their son Walter.
Burial will take place at a later time at Arlington National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Cate's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Animal Rescue League of NH.
