Agnes Carneal Carroll, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother (known as nana) peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at home. She was born on January 15, 1943 to the late Joseph and Ivy Carneal.

Agnes served the Lord faithfully as the Children's ministry/director for 32 years. She was a member of Spotswood Baptist Church for 53 years. Agnes worked and later retired from Spotsylvania County Schools after 30 years as a teacher's aide.

Survivors include her children, Paul and Alvin (Jennifer); grandchildren Blake (Mary), Nikki (Nick), Toni Aswegan (Kevin), and Joshua Taylor; great-grandchildren Raylin and Ben; and her sister, Ruth. She was preceded in death by her husband, George; and her brother, Garnett.

A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Spotswood Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
