Frances Buckner Monk, 91, of the Rheatown Community in Chuckey, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Four Oaks Health Center in Jonesborough.
She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother.
Mrs. Monk was a member of Limestone Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters: Vickie Miller and husband, Joe, and Carol Monk and her life partner, Frankie Kimery; grandchildren: Samara Reese and husband, Brian, Janay Miller, and Kesha Miller; great grandchildren: Orrin Reese and Avaleigh Miller; special nephew: David Wright and wife, Debbie, and family; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Monk, brother, J. T. Buckner, and sister, Shirley Jestes.
There will be no formal visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
