Aileen Elizabeth Dick was born at Alton, Ill., Nov. 19, 1908, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Dick of that city. She graduated from the Alton High school and then attended Montiello seminary at Godfrey, Ill., for two years. She completed her education at the University of Wisconsin from which she was graduated in 1929 and where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
She married William Clark of this city Aug. 8, 1930, at Alton, while the latter was attending Harvard medical school. They resided in Boston until Dr. Clark completed his studies and entered Lakeside hospital in Cleveland, O., as interne and later as surgeon in residence. Following the death of the late Dr. Burton Clark, in 1934, they moved to Oshkosh.
Mrs. Clark was active in the Service league and in the Infant Welfare auxiliary of the Visiting Nurse association, until her health failed last January. She had also served on the board of directors of the Bureau of Family Service.
She is survived by her husband and two sons, William E. Jr., age 5, and David Dick, age 2; also by her parents, and one brother, William Dick, of Alton, Ill. Funeral arrangements are to be announced later.
