Born in Rock Hill, SC, he was a son of the late Albert and Vera Blue Sanders, Sr. Mr. Sanders was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force, and was a member of the Catawba Indian Nation.
He is survived by his daughter Adrienne Sanders, of Greenville; three sons Martin A. Privette, of Salt Lake City, UT, Kevin Privette (Tammy) of Monroe, GA, and Albert "Trey" Sanders, III, of Greenville; five sisters, Leone Watts, Laura Varnadore, Ann Morris, Marilyn Sanders, and Juanita Ann Campbell, all who live in Rock Hill; one brother Randall Sanders, of Rock Hill; five grandchildren; and 1 great granddaughter.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Marie Simmers, Ada Sanders, Lois L. Thompson, and Brenda Sanders.
Burial in Graceland East Memorial Park.
