Alan Dean Epp, 88, of Plymouth, died on April 22, 2021 at the Heritage Care Center in Fairbury. He was born on August 11, 1932 in Beatrice and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1950. He married Eunice Stahl on August 22, 1956 at St. John Lutheran Church of Beatrice and they lived and farmed south of Plymouth. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Beatrice and a former member of the Jefferson County Extension Board. Alan enjoyed his grandchildren's activities and antique tractors.

Survivors include three sons, Gary (Dianna) Epp of Hickman, Gerald (Loretta) Epp of Brewster, Galen (Sue) Epp of Plymouth; five grandchildren, Logan (Jennifer) Epp, Garrett (Savanna) Epp, Taylor Epp, Rylee Epp, and Keely Epp; step-grandson, Chris Hughes; great-grandson, Landry Epp; four step-great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Carlee, Clayson, and Jayden Hughes; brother, Kenneth Epp; sister, Lucille (Roger) Engbrecht; sisters-in-law, Betty (Ron) Schroeder and Marilyn Epp; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Epp, who died on May 24, 2011; his parents, Herman and Frieda Jantzen Epp; daughter-in-law, Sue Epp; brother, Richard Epp; sister-in-law, Erna Epp; brother-in-law, Lawrence (Frieda) Stahl, Jr.; step-grandson, Aaron Hughes.

Burial will be at the Evergreen Home Cemetery.
