Lallon "Lee" Olmstead, 84, of Galion passed away on April 24, 2021 at her home.

Lee was born in Roslin, Tennessee on February 13, 1937 to the late Manuel and Roena (Matthews) Beaty. She married Kelly Olmstead on September 20, 1952 and he preceded her in death in January of 2010.

Lee worked at Galion Dresser for over 25 years before she retired in 1999. She was proud of her family. Lee enjoyed tending to her garden and yardwork. She loved jigsaw puzzles and taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Lee is survived by her children; Tricia (Greg) Baldwin, Gary (Betty) Olmstead, and Pam (Mark Reynolds) Kohls all of Galion; her siblings; Olene Hicks of Munice, IN., Shelby (Sue) Beaty of Cookville, TN.; 7 grandchildren; Edson Harris of Phoenix, AZ., Amy Fisher of Galion, Angela Keenan of Galion, Michelle Gallant of Galion, Josh Kohls of Dublin, Kelly Kohls of Galion, and Miranda Olmstead of Bloomville; 13 great grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Lee is preceded in death by her son Ritchie Olmstead; grandson, Todd Burchett and siblings, Virgie Garrett, Bus Beaty, Lena Rodgers, Herschel Beaty and Joel Beaty, Edith Phipps, Josie Hale, Lois Brown, and Bruce Beaty.

Friends may call on Tuesday April 28, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00PM at the Mark A. Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North in Galion. Services will be held Wednesday April 29, 2021 at the funeral home beginning at 1:00PM. Brother Gerald McCabe will be officiating and the burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
