Mrs. Elizabeth Calvin, died at the home of her son-in-law, William Gallagher, seven and 1/2 miles south of Abilene, Kansas, Friday, at the age of 75.
Elizabeth Grubb was born near Knoxville, Tennessee, May 24, 1820-1825. and moved to Stewartsville, Indiana with her parents at the age of six. She was married to Josiah Defur, in 1850. Fived children were born, three died as infants. one son seven years ago and the last child, Mrs. Galligar, May 28, 1900. Mr. Defur died 24 years ago.
She remarried to Job Calvin, who died a few years ago.
She came to Abilene, Kansas, about five years ago.
Her daughter was buried just Wednesday.
