Jacob "Jack" Diller was born in the town of Brzozów, Galicia, Austria-Hungary (located today in southern Pland) on Nov 1st, 1896. Jack emigrated to the US together with his wife Claire Diller, his paternal cousin. Jack and Claire had one son named Sanford Diller.
Jack and Claire operated the Diller Kosher Style Restaurant that was located in San Francisco in 3 different locations.

Jack passed away on Jan 25, 1960 in San Francisco, CA at the age of 64.
