Mrs. Bela Barber, who had reached the age of 80 years, had been a resident of the town of Abion 65 years. She died April 27. Her maiden name was Betsy Taylor, she being one of family of five children. Beside the aged husband, who is very feeble, she leaves to mourn her loss one son, Joseph C. Barber and two daughters, Mrs. Atwell Pray and Mrs. Chas. Crouse; one daughter, Mrs. Hattie Thomas, and two sons, Aaron and Lewis Barber having preceded her into the silent land.
