Thomas Mott of Branford died on Sunday May 2, 2021 at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family.

He was the loving husband of the late Ellen Wilson Mott.

He was the beloved father of Laura Pantani (Dennis) of Branford, Kate Driscoll of Cheshire (fiancé Paul Velleca), and Thomas Mott (Erin Meunier) of Westerly, R.I. He was treasured Poppy to his grandchildren, Jacob, Gabrielle, and Noah Pantani, Daniel and Lauren Driscoll, and Aurora, Wilson, and Holden Meunier Mott. He was the brother of Dorothy Mott Brandriff of Stony Creek. He was predeceased by his sister Barbara Mott Van Wilgen.

Thomas was born in New Haven on August 21, 1945, a son of Frank and Frances Frayher Mott. He grew up in Stony Creek and enjoyed his childhood as a "Creeker." He was the Vice President of Wilson Arms in Branford and also worked for Marlin Firearms.

Burial in St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford.
