- Albert "JR" Rodey Jr. age 55 of Greenville, South Carolina, formerly of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, South Carolina.

Born June 20, 1965 in Ann Arbor, JR was the son of Albert and Bette (Walker) Rodey.

A 1983 graduate of Jefferson High School, he married the love of his life, whom he had been with since 1998, Tiffany Smith, on January 16, 2021. JR was a member of the Moose, the Monroe County Rod and Gun Club and Teamsters local 299.

An avid Detroit sports fan, especially the Tigers, JR also loved riding motorcycles, playing the guitar, music and boating, but his most treasured times were those spent with Tiffany, his family and life long friends.

JR leaves to treasure his memory his beloved wife Tiffany;
a brother Timothy (Tracey) Rodey;
a niece Parker Rodey and
a nephew Zachary Rodey,
Aunts, cousins and countless friends. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents.

In accordance with JR's wishes, cremation has taken place in South Carolina.

A celebration of his life will be planned in Monroe at a later date. Local arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Allore Chapel-Martenson Family of Funeral Homes.
