Born August 13, 1893, in Suffern, Mrs. Ward was the daughter of Alonzo and Carrie Horton Harper.
She was the last surviving charter member of the Order of the Easter Star, Chapter 673 of Suffern.
A homemaker, Mrs. Ward served on a committee that instituted a hot lunch program in Suffern.
She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Rose of Suffern and Ruth Woodruff of Virginia Beach, Va.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home on Route 59 in Suffern, followed by burial at the Sloatburg Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
