Haskell C. Owens passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, at the age of 92 at a local hospital.
Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday in Parker Memorial Cemetery. Visitation: Noon to 6 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, Sylvania Chapel; the family will receive friends 4 to 6 p.m.
Haskell Owens was born in Sulphur Springs and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by his daughter.
Survivors: Wife, Elizabeth Owens of Haltom City; sons, W.A. Owens of Fort Worth and James Hyden of Haltom City; sister, Ilene Blair of Hurst; and three grandchildren.
